WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT?

ACTUALLY BAKING WITH OLIVE OIL IS GREAT IN MANY WAYS; FLAVOR, TEXTURE AND HEALTH.

HOW IS THAT? OLIVE OIL IS A MUCH HEALTHIER FAT THAN SATURATED FATS LIKE BUTTER OR MARGARINE. THIS CAN DRAMATICALLY CUT OUT MUCH OF THE CHOLESTEROL IN THE BAKED GOODS.

IN ADDITION, OLIVE OIL CONTAINS VITIMAN E WHICH NATURALLY MAINTAINS THE FRESHNESS OF THE BAKED GOODS. YOUR BAKED GOODS WILL ALSO HAVE A MUCH SOFTER AND MOIST TEXTURE.

WILL MY CAKE TASTE LIKE OLIVES? CERTAINLY NOT. IN FACT MOST MILD OLIVE OILS WILL ACTUALLY ENHANCE THE FLAVOR OF YOUR CAKE.
